Jane is an electrical engineer who is passionate about developing the next generation of wireless communications technologies. After graduating from the University of New South Wales, she commenced a PhD at MIT supported by a Fulbright Future Scholarship where she works on developing techniques to better manage noise and interference in communications systems. She is particularly interested in applying her communications research to challenges in the defence and national security sector, having completed internships with Australia’s Department of Defence and cybersecurity company Penten. She enjoys classical singing, trying new restaurants in the Boston area and CrossFit.
