Khin Saw Yone is a computer scientist passionate about bridging linguistic divides through technology. Raised in Myanmar, she moved to the US to further her education, earning a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Language Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her coursework and undergraduate research sparked her interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Currently pursuing a Master's in NLP, she aims to develop robust systems and advocate for AI ethics to empower marginalized communities. In the coming academic year, she will complete a capstone project and continue her research on large language models and explainability.
