Ramnath Kumar is a driven deep learning researcher, currently contributing to cutting-edge AI advancements as a Pre-Doctoral Researcher at Google DeepMind. This fall, he embarks on his PhD journey at UCLA under the mentorship of Prof. Cho-Jui Hsieh. Ramnath's research centers on developing robust and efficient algorithms, specializing in representation learning for large language models, meta-learning, and efficient information retrieval. He holds a Master's in Economics and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, where he graduated top of his class. His work has been recognized through publications at prestigious venues like WWW and AAAI (including an oral presentation), and has been featured in prominent forums like the Google AI Blog. Outside of his research, Ramnath enjoys playing chess, badminton, and watching anime.
