Roshni is a Biomedical Engineering PhD candidate at UC Davis passionate about the intricacies of the heart’s electrical activity. She graduated with a B.Tech-M.Tech dual degree in Biological Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from IIT Madras. Her research delves into sex differences in cardiac electrophysiology, aiming to uncover the mechanistic basis for divergent arrhythmia susceptibility between sexes and develop tools to predict female responses to drugs, addressing their underrepresentation in clinical studies. She is dedicated to science communication and aims to advocate for inclusive research and healthcare practices. An ardent sports lover, she plays badminton and basketball and enjoys hiking and swimming.
