Srujan Penta graduated with a B.E. (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India, where he received the “Prof. L. K. Maheshwari Best Graduating Student” Award. Following his graduation, he worked on state-of-the-art transistor technologies as a Process Design Kit Engineer at Samsung Semiconductors in Bengaluru, India. In 2022, driven by his ambition to innovate semiconductor systems for high-performance computing and AI applications through advanced packaging technology, Srujan began his graduate studies. He was awarded the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation PG Scholarship and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a minor in Technology Entrepreneurship from the Scheller School of Business. Srujan is dedicated to democratizing the global semiconductor supply chain and leveraging it to foster an equitable STEM talent and workforce. Beyond his academic pursuits, he mentors students through the Office of Graduate Education at Georgia Tech and volunteers with the oSTEM organization as a member of the Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) team.
